Julian Jagtenberg is the CEO and Co-Founder of Somnox, a category-carving company known for developing the first smart sleep companion proven to improve the quality of rest. Julian brings a passion for robotics to his role at Somnox, where he and his team have built a science-backed sleep companion, shown to improve breathing and settle the mind for better sleep, recovery, and quality of life.

Julian graduated with honours from the Delft University of Technology with a degree in Industrial Design. He also holds a minor in Robotics from the Delft Biorobotics Lab – 3mE (Faculty of Mechanical, Maritime and Materials Engineering).

Antoinette van Kolthoorn is fully committed to the digital transformation of consultancy and engineering firm Witteveen+Bos. First as program manager and now also as manager of the Digital Support business unit. New digital engineering solutions are being developed together with all other business units and customers, while at the same time, the team is building a data-driven and digital organization. “We use new technology and data in a smart way to solve societal challenges for clients as well as improving our own digital way of working."

He drives growth, creates value, and is now doing that on a larger scale in the corporate world as a Senior Director in the management team.

John Bell

CEO OF HIGHTECHXL

Dr John Bell is the CEO of HighTechXL, which is one of the key DeepTech Venture Builders in Europe. Based in the Brainport ecosystem in the Netherlands, HighTechXL creates new promising ventures that solve societal challenges. Before John joined HighTechXL, he was global Vice President of External Innovation for Johnson & Johnson Consumer, based in New Jersey. In this role, he was responsible for driving cooperation with entrepreneurs, strategic suppliers, partner companies and universities to co-create and onboard game-changing innovations.

Sara Okhuijsen is a scientific social impact entrepreneur. As a creative mind with a passion for science and innovation, she is committed to utilising her skills and knowledge to bring science and innovation to people. Sara’s work at OASYS NOW enabled her to bring cutting edge technology and scientific advancements to society, by building an ethical-by-design storage and exchange platform for DNA.

Karthik Mahadevan is the co-founder and CTO of Envision. He leads the product and strategy at Envision. Coming from a lifelong passion, education and career in the field of deisgn, Karthik cares meticulously about the details of products created at Envision and their role in improving the lives of people who need them the most.

Rob van der Werf

ASML director

Rob van der Werf is ASML director of Public & Private Partnerships in the domain of start-&scale-up ecosystems. He previously held management positions at ASML in Product Strategy and Strategic Business Development. Before joining ASML, Rob was CEO of a startup developing equipment for IC-encapsulation.  started his professional career at Philips as a product manager for electronics assembly equipment. Rob has a master's degree in Applied Physics and holds an MBA.

Frans van Houten

FORMER CEO AT ROYAL PHILIPS

Frans van Houten is the former CEO of Royal Philips and studied economics at Erasmus University in Rotterdam. He is a member of the Supervisory Board of Novartis and co-founder of the Graduate Entrepreneur Fund. He is an advisor and board member of two healthcare scale-ups in the US.
